Ratatouille is a 2007 computer-animated Disney film. The eighth Pixar film, it was written and directed by Brad Bird, who took over from Jan Pinkava in 2005, and produced by Brad Lewis. The title connects to the French food ratatouille and the primary character, a rat. In Paris, Remy, a rat who wants to be a chef, forms an alliance with a restaurant’s trash guy.
