Who is Ian and Barley ?

 

In Disney and Pixar’s “Onward,” elf brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot go on a mission to spend one more day with their late father. Soon, they’ll make another amazing journey…to you!

Ian and Barley will make their Disney Parks premiere at Disneyland After Dark: Pixar Nite on March 5. The following day, the same day “Onward” enters cinemas, you can meet them at Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure park. Soon, the elf brothers will visit Hong Kong Disneyland to greet visitors and participate the Pixar Water Play Street Party.

“Onward” introduces us to 16-year-old elf Ian Lightfoot, who lost his father before he was born. Ian is lovely and determined, but his lack of confidence and anxious energy sabotage him. Ian believes his life would be simpler with his father’s supervision.

Barley Lightfoot, Ian’s 19-year-old brother, likes magic and role-playing games. He’s a free spirit who prefers the past over the present. When Barley and Ian’s late father sets them on an epic mission, Barley cranks up his faithful van Guinevere and never looks back.
