Better Off Dead (film)

Better Off Dead is a 1985 American surrealist dark comedy film written and directed by Savage Steve Holland. It stars John Cusack as Lane Meyer, a high school student who becomes suicidal when his fiancée breaks up with him soon before Christmas.

Lane Meyer, a high school student in the Northern California hamlet of Greendale, has two primary interests: skiing and his six-month girlfriend, Beth Truss. Beth leaves Lane for the attractive and popular ski team captain, Roy Stalin, just before Christmas. Roy is an egotistical bully who unjustly rejects Lane during ski team tryouts. Beth also critiques Lane’s automobile, an ancient station wagon. Lane also has a 1967 Camaro, which he has not been able to get working and now sits in the driveway in a decrepit condition.

Inspired by 1985 cult hit “Better Off Dead,” this shirt recreates Jenny Meyer’s French Cuisine restaurant’s famed logo. A great present for any fan of the film or anybody who enjoys a good chuckle.
