Big Trouble In Little China: It’s All In The Reflexes
Big Trouble in Little China, John Carpenter’s cult classic, has arrived on Netflix, and talks are on with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to appear in a remake. According to The Wrap, Big Trouble in Little China is one of ‘The Rock’s’ favorite movies, and who can blame him.
Big Trouble, which barely made $11 million, stars Kurt Russell as Jack Burton, a fast-talking truck driver who becomes entangled in a century-old magical conflict in China Town. Kim Catrell also appears in the film as Gracie Law, an attorney determined to expose Lo Pan, a mythical character, who finds herself in the middle of the action when she attempts to rescue a girl at the airport.
Truly a fantastic picture with some unforgettable speech, largely delivered by Jack Burton (Kurt Russell’s character), and no remake will ever come close to the original; nevertheless, if a remake is in the works, “it’s all in the reflexes” will be included. Jack Burton: Like I told my last wife, I say, “Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it’s all in the reflexes.”
Big Trouble in Little China It’s All In The Reflexes Burton’s Gym Vintage Movie T-Shirt evokes fond memories of the film and would make an excellent present for any lover of Kurt Russell films. It features “Its All In The Reflexes Burton’s Gym” from 1986.
