Captain Spaulding
Captain Spaulding is the principal antagonist of House of 1000 Corpses, the tritagonist villain of The Devil’s Rejects, and a minor but essential figure in 3 From Hell. He is a member of the Firefly family of assassins.
He is the father of Baby Firefly (who he zealously protects) and probably Otis B. Driftwood, but this is unknown. He owns Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen in Ruggsville, Texas, which features a murder ride detailing the crimes of many serial murderers. He dresses up as a clown and sells fried chicken. He often utilizes this facility to lead additional victims toward the Firefly home. Captain Spaulding is also known as “Cutter,” a moniker he got after knifing a man to death.
