In terms of abortion, where do women in the United States stand after case Roe V Wade?
According to a recent survey, 69% of women agree that abortion should be severely restricted.
Surveys show 69% of female respondents support a three-month limit on abortions; only in circumstances of rapes, incest, or saving the mother’s life should it be authorized.
Research shows that 37% of women feel that only rape, incest, or saving the mother’s life should be grounds for legal abortion. In addition, a further 21% of women said that abortion should be illegal after the third month of pregnancy.
More over half of those who identify as pro-choice (52 percent) feel that abortion should only be offered in situations of rape or incest or to save the mother’s life, or never be authorized at all.
In addition, 82% of American women believe that laws protecting both a woman’s health and the life of her unborn child are attainable. More than two-thirds of pro-choice Democrats and two-thirds of pro-choice Republicans agree with this sentiment.
