The planned American superhero film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is based on Marvel Comics and features the characters Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Hope Pym/Wasp. The film is set to be released in the United States. It is going to be the sequel to Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and it will be the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will be produced by Marvel Studios and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (MCU). Peyton Reed is the director of the film, which was written by Jeff Loveness and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne. Other notable cast members include Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors. The screenplay was written by Jeff Loveness.
In November of 2019, it was announced that Reed and Rudd will be reprising their roles for the film’s third installment.
