Plot of Attack On Titan 2
Years previously, Eren’s father forcefully injected him with an experimental serum. When Eren’s mother discovered this, military police took Eren’s parents and burned the house. Souda saves Eren. Kubal and his squadron kidnap Eren, fearing he’s a menace to mankind. Mikasa defends him. Souda is slain while pleading with Kubal to save Eren’s life. A Titan kills Kubal and his squadron, captures Eren, and saves Mikasa and her allies.Eren wakes in a bunker alongside Shikishima, who explains the Titans’ origins as a failed military experiment that converted individuals into Titans and devastated mankind. Shikishima intends to overthrow the wicked government that oppresses its people with barriers and Titan fear. Eren offers to aid when he discovers Shikishima possesses pre-Titan War weaponry.
Hange, Mikasa, and the others recover an undetonated bomb near Eren’s hometown. Eren is found by Shikishima’s warriors. Shikishima tries to enlist them for his coup, stating that he wants to use the dud bomb to blow up the capitol and let the Titans liberate mankind. Eren opposes Shikishima, fearing more innocent deaths. Sannagi sacrifices himself to bring down a tower that falls on the weapon cache, blowing it up as the others flee. Shikishima returns on the truck and stabs himself, identifying himself as the Titan who stole Eren. Eren gets smashed by Shikishima, but he changes into his Titan form and beats him. Eren, in human shape, places the explosives as Armin prepares the fuse.
Kubal, who survived the onslaught, urges the gang to hand up Eren and retreat to the interior. Sasha shoots Kubal, who collapses and transforms into the Colossal Titan that penetrated the outer wall in part 1. Eren, Mikasa, and Jean die when they leap on the Colossal Titan. Mikasa attempts to fix the explosive fuse, but Shikishima stops her. Eren attempts to attack Colossal Titan’s nape but fails. Shikishima sacrifices himself by turning into a Titan and putting the explosives in the Colossal Titan’s jaws. Eren and Mikasa stand on the wall’s top, watching the ocean, after the blast. In a post-credits sequence, a character remarks Eren and Mikasa’s unpredictability makes them “fascinating”
