Custom Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Sally Personalized Christmas Holiday
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas has Sally as the story’s secondary protagonist.
Dr. Finkelstein sculpted her into a humanoid form using a rag doll. She is constructed of a variety of parts that have been sewn together, and dried leaves serve as her stuffing. She is the doctor’s invention, and as such, she is kept behind bars at all times. Therefore, whenever she has the need to go out, she slips out of the house after poisoning the doctor with deadly nightshade and then covering her tracks with worm’s wart and frog’s breath.
Sally is hopelessly in love with Jack Skellington, but she cannot bring herself to express her feelings to Jack. Nonetheless, by the time the movie is through, she is able to convey to him how deeply she cares for him, and he admits that he feels the same way for her. On top of Spiral Hill, they engage in a passionate kiss with one another.
An epilogue that is not included in the movie itself can be found on the original soundtrack for the film. It states that “many years later,” Santa Claus came back to Halloween Town to see Jack. He made this discovery after learning that Jack has “four or five skeleton youngsters at hand, who play together in a xylophone band.” The way the movie comes to a close makes it reasonable to conclude that Jack and Sally are the parents of these kids. It remains a mystery as to why they are skeletons rather than some kind of combination between skeletons and rag dolls.
Catherine O’Hara provided the voice for Sally in the original movie, whilst Kath Soucie provided the voice for Sally in the Kingdom Hearts series and Oogie’s Revenge.
