Why do kids have such a particular fondness for the Frosty the Snowman character?
Christmas Eve professor Hinkle performs. The kids construct a snowman because of his antics. Karen’s proposal “Frosty” is popular. After Hocus Pocus blows, Karen puts Hinkle’s hat on Frosty. Frosty gets deactivated by Hinkle’s hat. Hinkle promises kids they’ll understand snowmen can’t move as adults. Everyone ignores him. Frosty’s cap is Hocus’s.
Frosty worries the North Pole melting. Children suggest he harass others by train. Hocus, Frosty, and Karen board a northbound train without tickets while Hinkle hunts for the hat.
On the northern train, Frosty notices Karen’s cold. Hinkle leaves to warm Karen. Frosty, Karen, and Hocus fight the forest. Hocus builds Karen a campfire. Frosty believes fire won’t save Karen, so he asks Santa to take him north. Hinkle puts out Frosty and Karen’s fire and takes their headgear while Hocus searches for Santa. Hinkle jails Karen and Frosty.
Karen’s Frosty melts, so Hocus joins Santa. Frosty’s Christmas snow, says Santa. Wind revives Frosty. Hinkle requests the hat. If he returns the hat, Santa won’t provide. Santa resurrects Frosty, dumps off Karen, and promises Christmas snow.
As the credits roll, Frosty leads the kids, Hocus, Jimmy Durante, and the community. Frosty sails to the North Pole on Santa’s sleigh, saying “I’ll be back on Christmas!”
