Giallo (2009 film)

Dario Argento co-wrote and directed Giallo, a 2009 Italian horror giallo film starring Adrien Brody, Emmanuelle Seigner, and Elsa Pataky. The picture was badly reviewed upon its first release and is perhaps most remembered for Brody’s lawsuit against the film for failing to pay him.

Turin, Italy: Linda, a French flight attendant, and Enzo Avolfi, an Italian-American investigator, join forces to discover Linda’s younger sister Celine. A serial murderer has kidnapped Celine, a model. He kidnaps attractive foreign ladies in his illegal taxi cab, simply known as “Yellow” (“Giallo” in Italian). After drugging them, the murderer mutilates and eventually murders them. He photographs his actions in order to get personal sexual enjoyment from them.
