T-shirt from the 1983 AV Club at Hawkins Middle School with the Stranger Things logo. Because I am such a huge fan of the show, I decided to create a Stranger Things t-shirt that would have broad appeal and would give the user the feeling that they were a part of a unique community anytime they wore it. My goal was to make the shirt as appealing to as many people as possible.

In November 1983, lab experimentation created a doorway to another realm, letting in a voracious beast. It made folks flip. After a week away, Will Byers and Barbara Holland died. Hawkins Lab staff hid their disappearance.
Murray Bauman was sent Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers’ 1984 confession. Bauman blamed Barbara Holland’s death on a lab accident to hide the Upside Down, thinking the public wouldn’t believe him and the proof could be removed. Eleven blocked Will’s gateway to the Upside Down.
Mayor Larry Kline bought East Hawkins’ Starcourt Mall. When the mall opened in 1985, many downtown Hawkins businesses fled, angering the mayor and townspeople. Hawkins locals appreciated Starcourt’s stores and eateries. Starcourt Mall’s Russian station went to the Upside Down. Dustin Henderson found the place using his amateur radio. Nearly escaped.
