Iroh Uncle Avatar The Last Airbender anime cartoon
Uncle Iroh is a fictional character in Nickelodeon’s animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He is also known as General Iroh and is credited simply as Uncle. The character was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko and was voiced by Mako in the first two seasons and Greg Baldwin in the third season and the sequel series The Legend of Korra due to Mako’s death.
Iroh is a former Fire Nation general and an extremely talented firebender (the ability to telekinetically produce and control fire). He is the eldest brother of Fire Lord Ozai, the ruler of the Fire Nation and the commander of the Fire Nation’s war to conquer the other three countries. Throughout the series’ plot, he joins his exiled nephew Zuko on his journey to catch the series’ protagonist Aang in order to restore the young prince’s dignity and birthright; Iroh serves as a tutor, seeking to help his nephew become a better person than his father.
Iroh really is the guy who has it all: compassion, intelligence, and the strange ability to preserve sweets in his beard. He’ll always be adorable with his white mustache and bald head. This Iroh blanket portrays Iroh from the famous anime series and would make an excellent present for any Airbender enthusiast.
