Who is Kotaro Bokuto Haikyuu?
Ktaro Bokuto was a student at Fukurodani Academy in his third year of study. He was the team’s ace and captain while he was a member of the volleyball squad. He was regarded as one of the country’s best five aces, just missing out on a top three spot.
A Division 1 club in Japan’s V-League, MSBY Black Jackals, drafted him as an outside hitter after he graduated high school. The Japan National Volleyball Team is also a part of his life.
Bokuto has golden eyes and white-grey hair with black streaks that is styled in a way that accentuates his eerie resemblance to a horned owl. He has a hefty frame and a well-defined torso. In comparison to the manga, his look in the anime is much slimmer, less athletic, and less muscular. In the subsequent seasons, this issue is mostly remedied.
His staff describes him as having “mood swings” because of his “playful, jovial, loud, and childlike” demeanor. To characterize him as “simple-minded” would be an understatement. He gets along well with many individuals who have personalities similar to Hinata’s. As seen by his encounters with Tsukishima, Bokuto is capable of being insensitive to the distress of others. Bokuto exhibited defensive tendencies when coaching a 3-on-3 game during the summer training camp when he instructed Kuroo, Tsukishima, and Lev to stop ganging up on Hinata as he was trying to score. He also showed kind, just qualities. Bokuto has a habit of making light of things and playing out his plays in order to get the attention of his teammates.
