Spies Like Us & Ace Tomato Company

Spies Like Us is a 1985 American comedy film directed by John Landis and starring Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Steve Forrest, and Donna Dixon. The film depicts the amusing exploits of two inexperienced intelligence operatives sent to the Soviet Union. Originally written by Aykroyd and Dave Thomas for Universal to feature Aykroyd and John Belushi, the film went into turnaround and was eventually picked up by Warner Bros. with Aykroyd and Chevy Chase starring.

The “Ace Tomato Company” was a CIA front in the film Spies Like Us. I believe we can all agree that Chase and Akroyd were both unfairly overlooked for their Oscar-worthy performances.
