EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle
In the 1981 film Stripes, starring Bill Murray and Harold Ramis, the EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle is a fictitious top-secret US Army project directed by General Barnicke.
It was strongly armored (with roll-away shutters to shield windows and other vulnerable sections from weapon fire) and equipped with machine guns, a cannon, flamethrowers, numerous rocket launchers, and miscellaneous infantry weapons. It also had a fully equipped communications and navigation suite and could be used as an armored personnel carrier, with soldiers entering and exiting via a power-driven ramp at the rear. When fired at by a cannon positioned atop a tower, the vehicle was demonstrated to be resistant to cannon fire. The EM-50 was designed to patrol metropolitan areas without drawing attention to itself, allowing it to rapidly unleash its armaments before an adversary knew it was there or comprehended what it was.
A classic aesthetic with a contemporary twist. In the past decade, the Em-50 Urban Assault Vehicle has been the fastest growing vehicle. This retro-style shirt is ideal for action movie aficionados. Ideal for a night out on the town or just lounging around the home in your favorite t-shirt!
