What happens at the end of The Fun House?

Jason William Lee directed and wrote the 2019 horror flick Funhouse. Valter Skarsgard plays Kaspar, a washed-up reality TV star who is lured into participating in a reality program where losers are brutally murdered.

The story began with eight people (reality show star Kasper, bride-to-be personality Lonnie, chess master, actress and martial arts star Cat Zim, Instagram personality Ula, Youtuber Nevin, singer Dex, TV personality Headstone, and blogger Ximena) being invited to participate in a new reality show hosted by a CGI panda named Furcas.

Cat eventually escapes from the house and finds her way to a neighboring road, where she is rescued. Police interview her about the killings, but she is eventually freed. The FBI searches the residence, but all they discover are corpses. Cat Zim arrives to Nero’s house, when it is revealed that she was a part of the whole conspiracy. As she informs him that she would not let him win at chess “next time,” it is hinted that she was always meant to be the single survivor.
