The Lizard Spider-Man Villains Marvel
Dr. Curtis “Curt” Connors, commonly known as The Lizard, is a significant adversary in Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man duology. He appears in both The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as a supporting character. In the Spider-Man: No Way Home movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021, he also plays a supporting villainous role.
He is a skilled geneticist who worked for Oscorp. He intended to utilize his research to develop ways to regenerate amputated limbs, but when his superiors sought to test the serum on soldiers to treat Norman Osborn, he was compelled to administer the injection on himself. But in the end, the serum turned Connors into a monster, mutant human-reptile hybrid who was convinced that he could do the same to the rest of New York. Connors still serves as Peter Parker’s mentor despite this.
Years later, the Lizard from the Webbverse’s past time is unintentionally transferred to another dimension by a Doctor Strange spell. There, he joins forces with other supervillains from the Raimiverse and Webbverse timelines to carry out his scheme to convert everyone into Lizard-people like himself.
