It’s the perfect punchline to the greatest Thanksgiving moment ever shown on television. WKRP in Cincinnati is in its first season. “Turkeys Away,” the episode. It was a golden age of sitcom TV, first airing the night before Halloween 1978 (rather than November, as some outlets incorrectly reported).
