The misadventures of a Cincinnati radio station were the focus of the American sitcom, which ran from 1978 to 1982. After its initial broadcast on October 30, 1978, the “turkey drop” episode is by far the most well-known.

A Cincinnati shopping center was unaware when 40 live turkeys were dropped from a helicopter onto it. Unlucky station manager Arthur “Big Guy” Carlson made the poor decision to drop live turkeys from a helicopter during a Thanksgiving giveaway promotion.
