The Developer of SkyNet

In 1994, Miles Dyson, head of Special Projects at Cyberdyne Systems Corporation, devised a novel sort of microprocessor, a neural net processor that learns and adapts like a person, by reverse-engineering the CPU and debris of the Original Terminator. Within three years, Cyberdyne Systems has risen to the position of the leading provider of military computer systems. All Stealth Bombers were outfitted with Cyberdyne Systems computers, allowing them to operate completely autonomously. Following that, the Stealth Bombers flew flawlessly, and the Skynet Funding Bill was finally approved.

Skynet started to learn at a geometric pace soon after its formation. The system first went live on August 4, 1997. Human judgments were taken out of strategic defense. On August 29th, 1997, at 2:14 a.m. Eastern Time, the system became self-aware. Skynet replied by shooting American nuclear missiles at its target locations in Russia during the subsequent panic and efforts to shut it down. Russia retaliated, and three billion people died in the nuclear inferno. This is what has been known as “Judgment Day.”
