Johnny Gasparini is a minor antagonist in the 1985 comedy film Better Off Dead. Johnny is a little child who distributes newspapers in Greendale, California. Johnny is a paperboy who seems and behaves rough. When delivering papers, he is known to hurl them forcefully. Johnny’s papers are constantly tossed into Al Myer’s garage door windows.

Later, Johnny makes a visit to the Myer home and Al’s son Lane Myer, telling Lane, “Four weeks, twenty papers, that’s two bucks.” “Plus a gratuity.” Johnny, I don’t have a penny.” I didn’t ask for a penny.
