What is the story of It’s Alive?

It’s Alive is a 1974 American horror film written, produced, and directed by Larry Cohen. In it, John P. Ryan and Sharon Farrell play the role of a married couple whose newborn kid is revealed to be a dangerous mutation. In addition to those already mentioned, the picture also stars James Dixon, William Wellman Jr., Shamus Locke, Andrew Duggan, Guy Stockwell, and Michael Ansara. The infant was conceived of and brought to life by the special effects make-up artist Rick Baker, while Bernard Herrmann was the one who scored the movie.

When it was first made available to the public, Warner Bros.’s It’s Alive was met with a variety of reactions from critics. It went on to generate two sequels, titled It Lives Again (1978) and It’s Alive III: Island of the Alive (1987), in addition to a remake in the year 2009.
