Who Found System of a Down?

System of a Down was formed in the mid-’90s in Southern California by vocalist Serj Tankian, guitarist Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadjian, and drummer John Dolmayan. They immediately gained a significant following in Los Angeles, mostly due to positive word of mouth.
