Shocking Facts About ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ You Probably Didn’t Know
Tim Burton wrote the poem that inspired The Nightmare Before Christmas while working as an animator for Disney. For the Daily Beast in 2013, Henry Selick said Burton composed the poem as a new version of “Twas The Night Before Christmas.”. Despite Burton’s best efforts in 1983, a stop-motion film based on the poem was never made. Jack Skellington, his dog Zero and Santa Claus were all depicted in the poem, which was written by Burton and even included artwork for the characters.
With stop-motion animation, the same technique employed in TV specials like Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, two movies that profoundly influenced him, The Nightmare Before Christmas was made The Nightmare Before Christmas was originally intended to be a TV special like the Rankin-Bass originals, as Burton himself confessed in the DVD commentary. After being rejected by networks, he tried his luck with book publishers, but was again turned down. In all, according to Burton, this film took him 20 years to complete.

When will I get my stuff?
After your order has been placed, this is how the order is processed: Fulfillment time: 3-10 business days. It might be increased during special occasions (Christmas season, New Years, affected by disasters, Pandemic, etc.). Each item have different Production time (see below). Note: “Business days” are considered to be Monday through Friday, not including holidays or scheduled service interruptions. Please check with your local postal service for all other regional restrictions and observed holidays that may delay receipt of your shipment. Follow after the fulfillment time the shipping time which is different for products and shipping location. Please see the table below for more detailed processing times and shipping times:

Tracking
When available, we will send you a tracking number with the confirmation email so that you can track the package online.
Shipping multiple orders
Multiple orders placed on the same day cannot be combined.
Shipping to multiple locations
Unfortunately, we cannot split up an order and ship to multiple locations. If you wish to send items to different locations, you will need to place a separate order for each shipping address.
Address changes
Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to change the shipping address once an order is out for delivery.
Customs charges and delays
Some countries may require import tax, duties, and customs fees for the imports. These charges, if applicable, are determined and charged by the Customs office of your country. Paying these charges is your responsibility. There might also be delays in delivery times due to customs checks which is out of our control.
